Stormwater Plans
Vollmuth & Brush engineers are Certified Preparers of Stormwater Pollution Prevention Plans (CPSWPPP), and can provide designs to comply with NYSDEC Stormwater Regulations, as well as local Towns within Suffolk and Nassau county, and New York City. Various projects have also required the coordination with the Army Corp. of Engineers in developing a compliant Stormwater Prevention Plan in an effort to reduce impacts to state regulated bodies of water such as the Mill Basin in Redhook, Brooklyn.
Vollmuth & Brush has also prepared numerous Stormwater Conditional Releases for the Town of Brookhaven. For smaller projects that have no discharge to a surface water, or regulated state wetland, it is often feasible to obtain a waiver of the Stormwater requirements of New York State. In these cases, Vollmuth & Brush will prepare a report and submit it to the stormwater officer for review and approval.
