Subdivisions

Vollmuth & Brush's multidisciplinary approach to project design has resulted in the preparation of a wide range of subdivision plans. Our firm's computerized program for survey and design has allowed us to produce accurate and precise subdivision plans for projects ranging for a 500 lot residential subdivision to 123 acre high tech industrial park. Our in-house ability to combine the survey techniques required to produce a subdivision, with the engineering and environmental considerations necessary to obtain approval of the subdivision benefits clients.

A complete subdivision design requires the integration of an accurate survey with the engineering fields of sanitary and storm drainage and road design. In addition, the design of an "approvable" subdivision requires an overlay of environmental considerations. Vollmuth & Brush's experience with these requirements has developed in an area where average residential lot size is under 2,000 sq. ft. and yields approach 20 single and separate lots per acre. Subdivision designs must precisely layout grades, utilities, easements and foundation locations at these high yields. The techniques utilized to design these high yield subdivisions have proven beneficial to clients who are seeking approvals on larger residential lot subdivisions and industrial and commercial subdivisions.

Vollmuth & Brush has prepared residential, commercial and industrial subdivisions in the following areas:

Nassau County
